This board is created to provide easy way for interested parties to share questions/advice/information about camping in the Black Rock Desert. It is no way any attempt to organize such activities, nor should it be used as a platform to do so. Its purpose is solely to help people share the information needed to have a safe and well-prepared trip.

I'm new to phpBB configuration so I'm open to suggestions about how it's organized. It's currently configured to allow somewhat free access to guests but this will be reviewed in the event of muppetry or asshattery. Contact admin by sending a private message via this board, or email to admin with the username 'juplaya' at the juplaya,org.

Okay, well it took a while but the asshats started arriving in force. I've tightened up the permissions to make it a bit harder to spam the boards, which means you might encounter an extra hoop or two on the way to posting. (The usual problem with an onslaught of crap from the old eastern bloc.) Contact me (admin) if you're having trouble getting anything approved. If you want to leave a bunch of commercial spam/viagra/scam posts, please call (408)2450857 to clear it with Lenny.
